Chapter Officers Lead Ainsworth FFA Throughout 2020-21 School Year

Each year the members of the Ainsworth FFA Chapter elect who they want to serve as their officers.

Officers elected to serve the chapter during the 2020-21 school year were: President - Libby Wilkins, Vice President - Logan Hafer, Secretary - Haley Schroedl, Treasurer - Libby Smith, Sentinel - Ty Schlueter, Reporter - Alyssa Erthum, Historian - CeeAnna Beel, Parliamentarian - Maia Flynn and Jr. Advisor - Shaley Starkey.

Each officer is charged with certain responsibilities which include: President - Presides over all FFA meetings and coordinates all activities;

Vice President - Assumes the duties of the president if necessary, supervises committees, and works closely with the president;

Secretary - Prepares the minutes of the meetings, attends to chapter correspondence, and records member’s attendance and activities;

Treasurer- Keeps records of chapter receipts and deposits, collects dues, and maintains treasurer’s book;

Sentinel - Prepares the meeting room, cares for chapter paraphernalia, attends the door, and welcomes guest;

Reporter - Publicizes chapter activities, sends stories to district and state FFA reporters and records FFA activities with pictures;

Historian - Keeps the chapter scrapbook, takes pictures of FFA activities, and works with the reporter to record chapter history;

Parliamentarian - Advises members of correct parliamentary law, helps maintain correct procedure at FFA meetings, and makes sure all meetings are fair and impartial; and

Advisor - Acquaints members with FFA, makes FFA a learning experience, and advises all FFA members.

Seniors: Katrina Beel, Moriah Beel, CeeAnna Beel, Tristan Bowen, Josie Ganser, Logan Hafer, Rylan Hobbs, Adrianna Hood, Valarie Morris, Cailin Orton, Elizabeth Smith, Shaley Starkey, Caden Swanson and Ellie Welke.

Juniors: Kyleigh Allen, Maren Arens, Alyssa Erthum, Ben Flynn, Maia Flynn, Mady Goochey, Wryllie Killion, Tommy Ortner, Eden Raymond, Cash Reynolds, Summer Richardson, Shelly Saner, Ty Schlueter, Haley Schroedl, Maverick Stutzman, Libby Wilkins and Sophie Wilson.

Sophomores: Moriah Cheatum, Levi Goshorn, Kersten Held, Landon Holloway, Briley Naprstek, Tatum Nickless, Lauren Ortner, Colton Orton, Gracie Petty, Makenna Pierce, Jensen Williams and Saylen Young.

Freshmen: Trey Appelt, Terrin Barthel, Riggin Blumenstock, Bailey Bowen, Makenzy Cheatum, Scott Fernandez, Kadence Fletcher, Airyan Goochey, Lura Hodge and Kiely Walz.

Activities During FFA Week Include:

Tuesday, February 23rd - Boots and Roots: 9th-12th grades wear boots and get root beer floats, Tractor Tuesday: Support your favorite brand of tractors; Wednesday, February 24th - FFA Day: Wear FFA apparel;

Thursday, February 25th - Official Dress Day, District X CDE 1 Contest, bank sponsored dinner at Canyon Creek; and

Friday, February 26th - Farm Fit Friday: Dress up like a farmer/ rancher.

All Week

School Ag Trivia for a prize, FFA Member Trivia for a prize, Community Ag Trivia for a prize on the radio each day and Golden Cow Scavenger Hunt each day;

K-4th Grade Mini Ag Lessons with the FFA Officers;

K-6th Grade Coloring Contest; 5th-8th Grade Door Decorating Contest; and

5th-8th Grade Golden Tractor - A clue in the announcements, once a student finds the tractor they get a prize for the day.
