How FFA Has Positively Influenced My Life

FFA has become a huge part of my life in the 3 years I have been in high school. I have met new people and learned new skills, and FFA also ties into my life of growing up on a ranch. Being active in FFA has taught me discipline, public speaking, and teamwork.

Why FFA?

By the time I was six, I was sitting in the gymnasium watching my siblings at the annual FFA banquet. Coming from a long line of FFA members, I knew that I wanted to be a part of the organization that generations of Wilkins’ had taken part in.

How FFA Has Positively Impacted My Life

In 2019, I moved from the big city of Houston, Texas to Ainsworth, Nebraska. This may not seem like a big change, but it was. I lived in the city surrounded by skyscrapers, then I moved to the country surrounded by fields and pastures.

Sheriff’s Report

Thank You!

Rod and I would like to give a big shout out to all the parents who helped us during the winter sports/activities that took a camera along with them to take pictures for the Ainsworth Star-Journal. It is nice to know we have volunteers who tell us they are going to an event ask if we would like them to take pictures or people we can call on for photos because we have to be out of town.
